| I used to always have trouble growing roses because of the deer chomping them all. Not now! |

| Drimys Lanceolata or Tasmanian Pepper Bush is that tall plant and it has red stems and the new leaves appear coppery-red and later turn light green. I thought it would have tiny white flowers by now. Oops. Maybe they will sill appear, since there should be black berries replacing the flowers in the fall. |
